Jules Heartly**, born as **Julia Becerra** in Colombia, is a multifaceted artist and compassionate storyteller. Under her pen name, she weaves narratives that transcend mere words, touching the depths of human emotion and resilience. Her mission? To mend emotional wounds, sow seeds of love, and cultivate a better world—one where empathy and care flourish.

These qualities and mission are clearly expressed on each one of her  blogs, which you may read at www.lifeinxxi.com

By day, Jules navigates the bustling streets of New York as a **technology project manager**. But when the sun sets, she dons her creative cloak, immersing herself in the world of writing. Her nights and weekends become a canvas for tales that resonate with authenticity and purpose.

The genesis of her literary journey was profoundly influenced by a harrowing experience. A close friend's wife endured unimaginable trauma as her husband became a long-term hostage in the clutches of guerrilla warfare. Julia felt an unyielding compulsion to share this story—a story of love, survival, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit.

Leaving behind her full-time job, Julia returned to Colombia, the land of her birth, to unravel the threads of pain and courage. She interviewed families of other hostages, absorbing their pain, their resilience, and their unwavering hope. The result? **"Save Your Prayers,"** a novel based on true events—their events.

As the 20th anniversary of the **La Maria mass kidnapping** approached, Julia's novel emerged—a tribute to the victims' families, a testament to their strength. These stories, previously shrouded in silence, now found a voice. The protagonists, scarred by their experiences, had long suppressed their memories. But Julia, with unwavering determination, gave them merit, weaving their lives into the fabric of her novel, **"IN THE SHADOWS OF GUNSHOTS"** , a book that has been translated to Spanish under the title REHENES EN MISA LA HISTORIA JAMAS CONTADA.

Yet Jules Heartly's mission extends beyond ink and paper. She is attuned to the world's struggles—the emotional burdens, the economic disparities, and the environmental challenges. With each word she writes, she raises awareness, urging us to preserve nature, to cherish one another, and to return to the roots of compassion.

Jules Heartly, not only weaves tales of resilience and survival but also nurtures young minds through her captivating children's literature. A reminder of the times when she used to be an elementary school teacher. Her creative journey extends beyond the boundaries of mere words; it's a symphony of compassion, education, and environmental consciousness.

**Mornin The Super Bird**, a groundbreaking series penned by Jules, takes flight into the hearts of readers, both young and old. Through the adventures of Mornin, a spirited avian protagonist, Jules plants seeds of awareness about **fauna extinction**. But this isn't just about storytelling—it's a call to action.

In the vibrant pages of these books, children discover the delicate balance of our planet's ecosystems. They learn that every flutter of a bird's wing, every rustle of leaves, and every whisper of the wind matters. Mornin's quest to protect endangered species becomes a mirror for young readers—a reflection of their own power to effect change.

Jules doesn't stop at educating children; she empowers them to be **environmental leaders**. As they turn the pages, they become stewards of the Earth, armed with knowledge and empathy. These young minds, inspired by Mornin's courage, carry the torch of conservation into their homes, schools, and communities.

**Mornin The Super Bird** isn't just a series; it's a movement. It invites parents, teachers, and caregivers to join hands with their little ones, fostering a love for nature and a commitment to its preservation. Through enchanting narratives, Jules Heartly sows the seeds of compassion, nurturing a generation that will spread its wings and soar—protecting our planet, one feathered friend at a time.

Jules Heartly—the artist, the healer, the storyteller—plants seeds of love, tending to the garden of our collective humanity. Through her words, she invites us to nurture not only our wounds but also the fragile planet we call home.
